Why is a raven like a writing-desk?

Suze and I were on our way home from Westfield when we spotted this little beauty outside a house down the road, with a sign saying 'Free - please help yourself to this desk'. We gave it a quick once-over and it looked like it was in decent condition, so after we'd dumped our shopping at home, we went back and carted the desk up the road! I think it looks fab - and the drawers are going to provide lots of lovely places to hide clutter! I reckon I might try to find a French polishing kit and give it a nice polish next weekend.
