Supper of champions...

...well, actually, supper of someone who somehow managed not to eat enough for lunch and then somehow managed to drag herself round a 7.5-mile run despite feeling like her stomach was eating itself! I came home and ate just about every bit of protein I had in the flat!

The wonders of the Kenwood Chef...

My friend Lan has just got an amazing Kenwood Chef. I am extremely jealous, especially as it helps Lan make gorgeous things like this cinnamon bread!

A proper posh camera!

My mum has a fantastic Nikon D60 camera, and for her birthday last week she got an equally fantastic new lens for it. I then stole the camera for the afternoon and went round the garden snapping anything and everything, but especially the butterflies on the buddleia!

It was my mum's birthday on the 12th, and then my friend Luke's 30th on the 14th!

I went to Wembley to see England play Hungary - I'd never been before but it was great fun! And we were at the right end of the stadium for England's goals, too!

Raspberries!

I've had my camera since Christmas, but hadn't got round to playing around with the settings. Mainly because the Auto function is so good! It's a Canon PowerShot SX200, so it's a compact camera but with some of the features of a DSLR. You can set the shutter speed and aperture yourself, and the camera does the rest of the work. Anyway, I had some raspberries in the fridge so I thought I'd have a bit of a play around. I'm quite pleased with the results!
